Indigo Bruise is a three-piece all-girl punk band from Pasadena,
California, formed through a shared love of music and creativity that
began in high school. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres,
the band experimented with indie rock, shoegaze, screamo, and Riot
Grrrl before ultimately finding their voice in punk rock.
Since forming, Indigo Bruise has become closely connected to the
Pasadena and Los Angeles DIY music scene, performing at venues and
events including the Pour House in Monrovia, the Doo Dah Parade, and
numerous backyard shows. One of the band's proudest achievements was
performing at The Smell, a venue that had been on their bucket list
since the band's earliest days.
In addition to performing live, the band has recorded several original
songs and hopes to release them in the future as they continue to
develop their sound and grow as musicians.
Beyond music, Indigo Bruise enjoys collaborating on photography, film
projects, visual art, and other creative endeavors, viewing each project
as an extension of their artistic identity. United by friendship, a
strong connection to their local community, and a commitment to creative
expression, Indigo Bruise continues to grow as both musicians and
artists while contributing to the vibrant DIY culture of Pasadena and Los
Angeles.
